Published in "Troll," 1995. Chess puzzle. White has to handle a possible stalemate after 1.. bxa4 and if zugzwang is to be exploited there is 1.. b4 to cope with. The idea is to employ an Indian by 1. Bg8 and 1..bxa4 2. Kf7 Kd5 3.Rd1#. Here only stalemate is released but the key piece is not used anymore, Cheney- Loyd theme. On 1.. b4 2. Nc4 3. Rd1#.
