The solution is 1.b:c7 K:e7 (hrozí) 2.c8D+B Kf6 3.g8DA mat (2...Kd6 3.Dd7 mat), 1...Kd7 2.e8D+C K:e8 3.c8DB mat (2...Kd6 3.c8J mat), 1...Kf7 2.g8D+A K:g8 3.e8DC mat (2...K:e7 3.c8J mat) The solution of the twin is analogous, the white mating moves form a Lacny cycle: "Autorovi sa podaril ojedinelý kúsok: Lačného téma (cyklická zámena druhých ťahov bieleho – ABC-BCA) s využitím premien troch pešiakov na dámy, ale navyše aj "rotácia" týchto ťahov v nadväznosti na tretie ťahy bieleho." From the award (Judge Bedrich Formánek): "Otáčanie pozície na vytvorenie cyklických efektov nemám práve najradšej, ale použitie tohto "triku" na hrozbovú cyklickú zámenu nielen druhých ťahov bieleho, ale aj matov, a osobitne v spojení s premenami troch pešiakov na dámy, má v sebe záblesk geniality."

Emil Klemanič (* 18.5.1967) Slovak composer and Grandmaster. "Emil Klemanič composes direct mates and helpmates as well as fairy direct mates. He obtained the title of FIDE Master in Solving in 2002 and the Grandmaster title in composing in 2022. He is one of the prominent Slovak problemists: he was the most selected composer in the book "Selected chess compositions by Slovak authors 1993-1998."
